6 days till the DOTBrno conference
With less than a week till the event, the final details are being finished.
If you think about it, Brno is quite small city, but not that small. With over 400k inhabitants, Brno is the second largest city in Czech Republic, right after Prague. Technologies and software developer hubs were always strong in this city and after couple small meetups, we decided to do a bigger one.
The initial idea
First and foremost we wanted to do just a 3-4 hour meetup, but once we opened applications, we’ve already had 5-6 speakers and knew, that if we want to have all of them, we must start sooner and make it a one-day conference.
8 speakers and a panel discussion?
With all speakers announced, we are heading into one-day conference wrapped up by panel discussion which is yet to be announced.
What will be the target audience?
As initially planed, we invited Web3 natives, developers, it students and expats from the city to come and learn about Polkadot and Blockchain technology. Although it’s not meant to be super technical, even a dev oriented person will be able to enjoy the conference thanks to 2-3 intermediate talks.
We are super happy with how ticket claiming is going and are looking forward to see all the bright minds that come to the conference.
Spend couple days in Brno?
That sounds like a good idea. Here’s an overview of all the events happening, with more being in the making. This will be a ride!
Tour de Beer - Side event on 9.11 to get to know each other and explore the city
ETHBrno - Hackathon on 11.11-13.11 focused on privacy & security
If we don’t count afterparties, there’s still a lot to do. Make yourself ready, pack some warm clothes and come to the wonderful city of Brno!
Don’t have a ticket? No worries, there are still couple left!
Still deciding or can’t come?
We don’t wanna promise, but there are already 2 more conferences planned for next year in Brno. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and you’ll get all the info first-hand.
See you soon.
